make sure the country name in the yahoo address is changed...i had this problem with sending and receiving from another country, make sure the person sending you emails from china changes the yahoo address to the U.S.

It could be because the Chinese government is censoring it. The Chinese government controls all acess to the inernet and email in their country and they filter all incoming and outgoing connections (blocking many). If you know a lot about computers, you and your email friend in China could set up or use a proxy server to encrypt all your email messages and so they wouldn't get monitored.

China convinced yahoo to make a separate yahoo china site that they could monitor searches and email from.
Most likely they are blocking the emails because they consider the communications disruptive/dissenting.

You need to informat that chinese person to check whether he/she is sending you on your right email id.

If you are expecting an email from them, contact them and let them know that their email never arrived and to please send their email again...make sure they have your correct email address!!!
