You should tell your boss that you are turning in a notice. Tell him you appreciated the oportunity given you but you must return home. Give at least 2 weeks notice. Offer to train a new person to fill your position. If that training will tske mor than 2 weeks then give 4 weeks notice to help train. If you are in a sales position they may let you go instead of working out your notice. Its always best not to burn any bridges behind you. you may want to return at some point in the future or you may need a good reference for a new job,

Be honest, but don't give too much notice. Give at least 2 weeks, but if you are not planning to leave your job for three months, definitely don't tell your boss now...give it a couple months. Or, s/he may decide that you aren't worth the investment and they'll replace you before you are ready to go.

Moving to another country is an excellent reason for quitting a job.

Tell the truth.

Well moving out to your country is alrdy a great excuse!!! So be honest! even if u werent moving to another country. Or if you dont want to be specific about another job, or w/e reason ur going to quit, just tell them that its personal business and they cannot ask you what it is. Thats wat mostly do, i just tell them its personal/family business and they dont question me at all. and if they do just tell them its something personal.

Honesty is always the best policy - you never want to burn your bridges when leaving an employer. Choose the right time and be honest.

Tell him you are leaving for a job that pays much better -- maybe he'll give you a big raise and you won't want to move.
