I recently had a Lupron injection to induce menopause as a treatment for endomitriosis - they dont want me to have a hysterectomy yet, they said I'm too young. When they gave me the shot they also prescribed a very low dose hormone that seems to be helping. I'm a little grumpy sometimes & I have had a few hot flashes but not soooo bad. If you want to contact me I will give you the name of the hormone - maybe it will help you too.

Powersurge.com is a Forum site for the peri/menopausal women out there. Huge site/lots of info--it is free. Give it a look. Covers all the points you brought up.

Friendswithoutfaces.com
and
Bellaonline.com
also deal with the stuff you mentioned. I have been kicking around out here in cyberspace for over 10 years and these are a few of my favorites.

I was going thru it. My dr refused to order estrogen as she says it causes cancer. Bunk. so i bought estroven natural from GNC to combat my hot flashes. Now i hardly take them. i'm not moody as i'm on antidepressants.
Hard to control weight. So i eat only one meal and so far have lost 30 lbs. Makes me feel good about myself. At times, i have problems sleeping........my sister sugested Valerian roots or was it St. Wort's all natural herbs. Green tea is good-antioxidant. Also I take Vit, C to avoid colds and Calcium to avoid osteoporosis. This is common among menopausal women. You should also take Vit E to make you look young. As skin gets too dry, use moisturizer on face and lotion all over body. Avoid the sun to prevent age spots, and skin discolorations. Drink lots of water.Get a good night sleep.
