Hell no it's not , african-americans can freely say " White people" so as long as that is accepted, then black is accepted, period. A group of stupid black gang bangers is the same low life level as a stupid group of white trash klansmen. See? The same difference, don't be afraid to use the word black , as long as we are called white.

If you say "they are just a bunch of stupid gang bangers", that may not be racist. But if you say "they are just a bunch of stupid BLACK gangbangers", that will be perceived as racist. By the way, why is this in the GLBT section?

Yes. Simply because there are street gangs of all color and orientation. The moment you insert "black" you are categorizing a race; therefore, it is racist. I would suggest you reevaluate your perception of "truth" as well.

I think that you can state that they are stupid gangbangers without adding the color. But in truth I would not go out yelling any of that too much, it might actually offend one of them stupid gangbangers into doing something in character like bust a cap in you.
