you need to go to advance auto parts and buy a Haynes repair manual on this vehicle,,it tells all the info you need to know and more,,they cost 15 bucks,,but the answer in there,,are better than any answer you,ll get on here,,i own a repair shop,,and do this kind of work all the time,,and i use the manuals all the time ,,because they have a lot of knowledge written in to them,,there very good and will help you for years to come,,please take my advice,,because sometimes on here people can be wrong,,and it could cost you more money than it should to get it repaired,,if you have the manual ,,and you goof up,,the only person you can get mad at is your self,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.

If you have an automatic..upgrade to Mobil 1 sythetic ATF

If you have a manual...upgrade to 75W-90 Mobil 1 Synthetic Hypoid oil...


They are BOTH fantastic, and yields real world results, not gimmicks.

remove drain plug

drain fluid

replace drain plug

pull fill plug (or tranny dip stick), whichever it specifies in ur manual

fill transmission with correct amount of fluid
(may require u to run the engine

if you dont know anything about cars i would suggest that you take it to a shop and have them do it because if not fone right, its gonna cost you alot more then $100 to have a tech to do it
