I am light- skinned and l will marry a light-skinned girl and have babies because I want my children to be beautiful and have great features. Don't get me wrong, I have dark-skinned friends, but I will never date a dark-skinned women. I am for light skinned people dating each other because we must represent the beauty of being fair skinned. I love who I am and WOULDN'T change it to be ANYTHING ELSE!!!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I am light skinned with green eyes and my husband is brown skinned with brown eyes and our daughter is a beautiful light brown girl with hazel eyes and people on the street tell us that constantly. I hope there are no self hatred issues in that statement because beauty comes in all colors. Oh, and there is no guarantee that your child will be good looking just because they are light in complexion. I've seen light skinned people with faces that can stop a clock! And if you're 1/2 black I hope you don't say these things to the black side of your family, as I am sure someone on that side is dark skinned, or at least brown skinned.

First of all your attitude puts a dividing line right down the middle of your culture and is a form of bigotry. Second there is no gaurentee that 2 light skinned blacks will have light skinned children. Its genetics that determines that and you do carry the darker gene within you. Next thing you know you will be marking cacausian as your race on employment forms. Your attitude is the same as the whites who will call you a ****** when your back is turned. And no matter how light you are and no matter how successful you may become certain people will always see you as a ******. Get real my brother.

True beauty is neither black ,white or any other color......it is a shame you are not looking for your love of your life instead of a skin tone........or a certain feature and too bad you have limited your options for a successful love life.

I am very lightskinned.I am in between quadroon and octoroon.People think I am white/spanish.They call me white boy sometimes.But I really dont think it matters these days.I LOVE light skinned women too.But remember I dont care how light you are you are still BLACK and if you are going after a lighter woman,make sure she is white and spanish or even asian.

Hm...well my "mother" said it herself, she would rather have had kids with an West Indian/Native or whatever race, just to have pretty hair on her kids. I am light-skinned, bright as hell, and would rather "have kids" with a light-skinned person.
