Is the diuretic a prescription pill or an over the counter one?
I don't know how bad your blood pressure is, but I suggest that you see another doctor. Taking 3 seems to be kind of excessive.
Do you also have high cholesterol? Does your doctor know that your feet swell, because he needs to give you a different diuretic. Take the diuretic in the morning instead of at night this way you're abt to eliminate more often.A little swelling is ok, but if your feet hurt you should really talk to your physician ASAP

Wow.
I sure would talk to my doctor about all these prescriptions. I think you are a walking test tube.
See if you can do some of this through diet modification. Controlling your BP is essential (I take Doxasin and Lotensin and a daily baby aspirin) but see if there is some way to avoid some of these other pills. Lomotil is normally effective and doesn't have that many side effects, but it was never intended to be used as a permanent drug.
You really need to talk to your doc and see if this is the right approach to treating your conditions. You might also want to see about spreading out the dosages throughout the day or staggering some of them if that is feasible. Lomotil should only be taken as needed.

You need to lay off a bit of water..diaretics are to help you flush out the excess water and relieve the swelling, you are defeating the purpose when you are loading up on water. Thats what the hyrdrochlorithiazide is a water pill. I take that plus 2 other bp meds. Reducing any added salt will help too, salt retains water, while your body needs some it is enough what is found naturally in food, so dont pour it on and lay off the chips and pretzels.

I only really consider two things trolling. 1- Saying something inflammatory, not to make a point, but just to get a reaction. 2- Pretending to be the other side to make them look bad. Most of what goes on here is 2. Let's face it, I say inflammatory things all the time. But I am making a point.

Check with your doctor on all of this. Some medicines have as a side effect that they impede urination; if you start on a new medicine and notice this (or any other) unexpected effect, discontinue it until you consult with your doctor.
