Remember, Charles de Gaulle was upset that France was left out of post-World War II planning (even though Vichy France cooperated with the Nazis).
He was mad that the United States and England were more powerful in the Western World so he started an alliance with Arab countries and looked the other way when it came to terrorism.
That's why a terrorist like Yasir Arafat was able to arrange for his wife and children to live in Paris while he bombed innocent civilians.
French government have had such an irrational hatred for USA and England that they have gone to bed with terrorists and are now paying the price.
France is the mouthpiece for terrorist states on the UN Security Council, they have abdicated their sovereignty once again.

Have you ever been to France? It is beautiful country with charming inns, restaurants and a relaxed way of life. I did not meet a single rude French person unlike the Americans I meet every day. Learn something about the world. Get some culture. And pull your head out of the sand.

Even though the modern incarnation of France is pretty slimy, remember that without their help in our war for independence, there would be no USA. (and we've repaid them with interest several times over!)

I really thought the French were going to redeem themselves when they offered 4000 peacekeeper to Lebabon and to lead the 15,000 UN force. but then they change their mind and only offered a mere 200 soldiers. Like WTF? So then after a lot of back and forth, they finally agreed to send 2000 soldiers.
But, to offer only 200, after you say you will said 4000 as soon as the cease fire starts is so French. The fact that you send 2,000 now doesn't matter. You guys are a bit dishonest.

Another person bashing a country and their people that don't want to get involved with America, how original. I know a lot of French people and please don't stereotype them just because of their government. Most of them are the most nicest and sweetest people that you would ever meet.
