Truth goes to the cliche saying: Live every moment as though its your last.

It is definitely still important to work hard and be serious, but everyone has to take time to enjoy life's every moment.. and count every blessing.

Take time to enjoy a hearty home cooked meal, a cuppa latte with your friends, a good run on the threadmill, a walk in the gardens, a lifetime vacation, and all the sights and sounds that we've often taken for granted.

Never leave the things you want to accomplish for tomorrow.. always work towards achieving it.. for who is to know if tomorrow ever comes?

Yes, I believe we have. I have a couple of neighbors, one about 85 and the other about 79. You would think at that age people would mellow out...not so. Two fussy farts who tend to their lawns with all the love and care in the world yet can't stand a little puppy barking at them...I see total hatred in them. I can't imagine what they were like in their youth .I guess I have difficulty with people who can't go with the flow of life and enjoy everyone and everything without finding fault in something.. Someone else told me they were lonely people. Well, duh?

I agree. It's the real difference between us and Europe altogether. Believe it or not we work harder than Europe, but look at what we sacrifice for in the process.

entertainment is more passive these days. We watch TV, we watch ball games, we watch movies, we watch plays, etc...

We do alot of passive activities these days and as such culture vanishes. Gone are the folk dances, songs, stories, and crafts.
