Cows run on grass not milk

i think this is the craziest question yet. I would say that a cow consumes no milk to walk and that it actully produces milk it would get like negative mileage i guess. becuase if you say my car goes 30 miles on a gallon - the cow would maybe walk a mile while making a gallon.

It's water, calories, oxygen and all of its other needed nutrients that determines how far a cow can walk.

A cow does not feed on its own milk as energy. Like all animals, cows feed on calories for energy. If there is is a lack of food, the cow will use it's stored fat as energy. A calorie and water deprived mammal will eventualy stop producing milk.

Cows drink water, not milk. And how could this question possibly be relevant? You planning on riding a cow to the store?

I don't think you can ask the question like you have and get an answer that makes sense. You seem to be under the impression that cows consume milk. A cow consumes plants and produces milk, therefore your question is Mooo(t)

You came to the right place. As a cow, I am an expert on the subject.
It all depends on whether there is a head wind or a tail wind and the relative aerodynamics of the cow in question.
Bulls get better mileage because their horns help break the wind.
I hope this answers you question.
Moo.
