I always use Map Quest - it gives me the quickest route to any destination I type in, even remote parts of the country like the one I live in.
A good program to invest in is the Rand McNally Road Atlas for your pc. You can plan a trip completely - it gives the quickest route, the most scenic route and the shortest driving time and you can add stops along the way.

try: whereis.com. You type in your location and where you are to begin with and then it will show you directions to your destination.

www.mapquest.com I have never had any problems with it, and have always gotten really reliable directions
