Years ago I went mushroom hunting and had to cut through a stranger's fenced in yard while nobody was home. On the way back, one of their cows chased after me and she was saying "Moo, moo, moo". I have never been so scared in my entire life. I never went back there again.

Over thirty years ago, in the Sierra Nevadas, while on a bare bones camping trip, I was being tracked by an eight foot tall bear. I had no weapons with me except my backpack, a knife, and my hands. I guess I really annoyed it because it wouldn't go away for two days. It came to within two hundred yards once, charging at me while bellowing, then turned and snuffled off while staring at me. I whizzed my pants and shook so bad all I could do was sit down for an hour. I thought I was a bear snack at 19 years old!

I was in Yosemite and a bear walked in the tent (it was in Curry House Keeping and the tents are big enough for a double bed and a bunk bead. My moms dog started barking and the bear licked the dog. (it was a Silky Terrier) The dog pissed itself and the bear licked at that and walked away. I wouldn't say my life was in danger but it took three baths to get the bear breath off the dog and from then on we stayed at the hotel in the park.

Maybe. One night a deer ran about 10 feet in front of my car. When I looked in the rearview mirror, 2 more came running across the street. A few seconds either way, whomp.

I was in Yosemite when i was stalked by a mountain lion. I knew not to bolt, but I hid from tree to tree to prevent a direct shot. I even got into the river to prevent a strike. When I got to a road, I was in better shape
