Why do you smart girls do this?

Why do very intelligent women, who have very specific goals for their studies and career..... pick men like a crack whore? You have an intricate and complete plan of how your professional life will turn out, yet you want to rush rush rush any guy that shows any interest in you. Why can't you just relax and let us get to know you at our own pace?

I can't ask any specific woman I'm thinking of this question, because they refuse to communicate as soon as they see reluctance on my part

ok. this is obviously getting the attention of other smart girls. When I wasn't willing to drop everything, move my life closer to her, and buy a ring..... I refused the ultimatum. Two souls that communicated perfectly, no longer communicate at all.

and I miss her like you would never believe

I think this type of women are very shallow and everything has to be organised - by them, they are control freaks. I am intelligent, however I am glad to say that I am nothing like these women. Many controlling women have low self esteem and they act in this manner to try to prove something, they think they have to be the same as men. My way of thinking is that men and women are totally equal but totally different - we are meant to be, there's nothing less sexy than a control freak. Women like this will never be happy, I believe in the hunter gatherer theory.

That's why there are books like 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus' in the market..

At the end of the day, deep in every women's heart lies a comfort need to be loved and secured. Women who have been through enough would know that a man can't be judged by his race, age, appearances, or qualifications.

It is really just about finding a soulmate that a woman could relate to, and a shoulder that belongs to her forever.

Having the material and social needs fulfilled, a woman would just press on to find that deeper security, and hence maybe the rush that men can't cope with.

Information is everywhere on Education & Careers. Parents are always talking about it. We get rewarded from our familes when we hit markes that we've told them about (or that they've set up).

However, it's socially rude to set goals/ mark/ stepping stones / acheivment markers on human beings. What would a man/ woman who says, "This year I'm going to date someone who works for the government ... next year, I'm going to date a skydiver & computer geek"?

Fariy tails are great stories that were designed to teach us what to avoid in life ... but as we age, we often forget these lessons: Hansle & Grettel --- Don't take candy (extra-ordinary gifts) from people ... gifts can trap us in places we don't want to be. Beauty & the Beast ... girls are taught that we can change bad boys (NOT) ... etc-etc-etc.

Vampires are most like the crack whore's. Usually very charming, sly tonge & words, and capture you in a spell. They're vain (hence can't see their reflection) and you can kill them with day light (day light = truth) and a steak through their heart (abrupt break-up). They don't like galic because it gives people bad breath. All in all when I watch Vampire movies, I always say "Run" to the young maiden ... but she's in a trance and doesn't hear me ... she just sits there and lets him suck her blood (blood = happiness & life force) from her. She can't hear anything but the lies, and smooth talking from the vampire. Yeah, I've had a vampire capture me in a spell ... I still can't think of a way out when I was caught. Yeah, there are women vampires too!!!

Were-wolves/ Jekly & Hyde's (Bi-polar people) ... you meet them and they're happy - funny go-go-go ... then during the full moon they turn into psycho's ... and you're terrorized for about a week, and then they flip back to happy - funny - go-go-go ... and when you share your pain with others, well they laugh because they only see the happy un -were -wolf person.

Maybe relationships of that depth was not part of their goals beforehand. Therefore, time has passed to the point where they fear if they do not get that aspect then and there, they never will.

Its a pursuit of security, affection, immortal beauty,
which can stem from, what can also be generally applied to most women whether unintelligent or a genius- vulnerability and the need to be loved and accepted.

I don't know why you have the impression you do, but very intelligent women generally don't have much interest in "crack whores" or other undesirables. Neither do they "rush, rush, rush....".

Either you're thinking someone is very intelligent who isn't or else you know one emotionally troubled intelligent person and have generalized about all intelligent women.

well if a woman went thru relationships .. i am sure she took the time when she needed too.. however as a woman matures and if she knows what she really wants she sees no point in having to wait... should she know what she wants ... if the woman you are speaking is rush rush.. then perhaps your right is still out there waiting for you.. perhaps you feel rush because deep down inside your not as ready as she...think about it... she probably is mature and ready for a commitment... the question is are you??????

Really, that's interesting=P
I guess they must've spent so much of their livelihood pursuing their life goals that when it comes to intimacy, their "biological" clock is ticking, perhaps?
Plus, I find it refreshing that you mentioned guys want to know women at their own pace which is the exact opposite normally, lol!

Because many women are very insecure. There is also something nice knowing that there is someone who loves you waiting somewhere for you.

I think that alot of the relationships women have, have alot to do with the relationship they had with their father and/ or witnessed their parents having when they were younger.
