If anyone is ever attacked by a bat, even if you are unsure whether you might have been scratched or bitten, or if ever you find a bat in your bedroom or cabin after sleeping overnight, please see a doctor immediately. Many bats carry rabies. If rabies develops in a human, it is almost always fatal. However, anti-rabies vaccine is available and should be administered promptly, if a bat bite is even suspected.

A flying bloodsucking creature, or a baseball bat? Neither, but the latter is great for whacking people in the knee who owe you $$.
