Ever see these comic and cartoon characters on tv? If Hollywood were to make a live action movie, who in Hollywood movies and/or tv, would play the parts? Would they also sing songs like they did on the cartoon shows?

This is very personal since all of us have loved growing up reading this crazy wonderful series, but here is my own two cents:
Archie - Chris Klein/ Ryan Phillipe
Jughead - Jason Biggs
Reggie - Sean William Scott (sarcastic guy from American Pie series) / Jack Black
Betty - Reese Witherspoon/ Cameron Diaz
Veronica - Sarah Michelle Gellar
As for singing, Reese Witherspoon has done professional singing in her lastest movie 'Walk the Line' for which she won an Oscar! So maybe ......
Whoever thinks this sounds good, or if someone has their own suggestions....

I say if they did it now they should get people no one has ever heard of but the untimate archie gang would be Ron Howard-Archie, Shannon Dorghtey-Veronica, Scarlett Jonhanson-Betty, and Johnny Depp -Jughead, and to add flavor Arnold Swarznegger as Moose and Marlon Brando as Mr. Weatherbee, Jessica Tandee as oh crap I forgot the old teachers name but you know who i am talking about. Oh I almost forgot, Reggie hmm how about Johnny Knoxville

Of course, this would have to be a 20-something version of Archie and his pals. Something like "Archie" meets "Office Space" ?
