Why can't people just be honest?
Look I'm a Panther's fan and I can honestly say that as of right now my team is a candidate, but I don't view them as the best team until they're the last one left standing...I hold them to high standards I guess...I just wanna watch them play good football again this year.
If I had to guess a best team...the Colts are probably...Edge or not. Rhodes can fill in...and Addai can if Rhodes can't, either way that offense is perfectly capable of ravaging defenses all year long. If their defense plays like it did last season...definately the Colts will be the best team this year...does the best team always win the super bowl? No....the best team didn't win last season..which was the Colts also....it happens right?

Sorry, I fell a sleep trying to thinking of the name of an NFL team. I think the last NFL game I watched was when the Broncos won the Super Bowl, when ever that was. And the only reason I watched was because my son wanted to watch the game.
I prefer to engage in athletic competition even at my age as opposed to sitting in front of the TV watching others do. I do however watch a couple of hours of the Olympics every 4 years.
OK, if you really need an answer...how about the Baltimore Colts. Wait do they still play there and is Johnny Unitas #19 still the man at QB?
Wait, what about the Packers and Bart Starr #15...is he still around?

I don't think there is a best team, but every where I go I hear Panthers. I don't know why everyone selects them. They have injury issues on Dline and their running backs are also unproven or injured. The Team I'd pick is the Pittsburgh Steelers, not my favorite team(Broncos) but they have great players at every position and are last years Superbowl champs.

i am not going to be byist the best team in the nfl is the steelers and until someone else wins the superbowl it will stay that way

I think the Winner of the Superbowl is either going to be The Carolina Panthers or the NY Giants... so i think one of them is the best team.
