How can I paint my body to appear like I'm from a black and white movie for halloween?

I'd really like to be Lauren Bacall for halloween (with my own Bogart, hopefully) but I don't know enough about make-up to do it without help. Help!

You will need to lighten your skin to where it's almost white. You can check out various types of stage or halloween makeup to do this.

Don't be too pale. Remember you need to build in textures to make you look more natural. Experiment a bit. The makeup will need to be greyish where your cheeks might be reddened.

You will also need to use a very dark or black lipstick.

If it isn't convincing you can always go as a weird rock star.
