They have a right to give it to who they want as it is their money. We all work to give our relatives and loved ones a good secure life. They will of course prioritize their families and want them first and foremost to enjoy the fruits of their hard labor. The fact that they give to charity at all is a good thing. It's called charity because it was willingly given not something obligated.

I would hate it if I gave so much to charity then my children ended up living in the streets because I did not give them enough to plan for emergencies like treatment for illness and being able to give their loved ones a good education and secure life.

What famous people are you speaking about? How do you know what they give to charity?

There are greedy famous people and greedy not-famous people. Being famous does not make you greedy.
