I'm planning on getting a second job as a server or a Host in a restaurant. I do have a part time job right now and I make 10.00 per hour in a call center . I would like to change it up a bit and consider a job that have more interaction with people. whats the average that server or hosts make??? If I do get this job I will be able to work like 2 days is it all worth it?? I go to school full-time and work part-time, would i be burn out???

Depending on the laws in yor state, you will probably earn minimum wage. As a server your "raises" are generally considered anything you earn in tips. It coudl bek worth it however. When I waited tables I worked only 5 hour shifts 4 days a week and earned more money than I did the first two years I worked at a "good job" (m-f 40 hrs a week).

Servers get paid less than minimum wage, and must hope on proper tips. It's legal, and it is what happens in almost every resturant. I'd look for a more steady paying job than a waitress. Then again, if you're good at it, you can make more than a average worker makes, but you'd better be good.
