I know what you about going to church. My husband and I have been trying to get started going back on wed. nights its been so hard!! We just force each other and we know it will get easier over time. There just always seems to be other things i want to get done. I use to have a habit of sucking my thumb when I was a kid. I didn't stop till right before I turned 15. It was crazy. After the sixth grade I only did it when I got tired and when i went to bed but still I was ashamed and one day i just made up my mind and so I didn't do it anymore. Most things u just have to break cold turkey or else you will just pull yourself right back in!

I'm not going to tell you about my worst habits because Yahoo wouldn't allow it. I did manage to quit smoking using aerobics teachers, sexual fantasies, and Nicoret gum. The fantasies kept the resolve fresh and it was no problem. I smoked two cartons a week. Then I had dreams for about three years that I had smoked a cigarette and I would wake up hating myself even though it was just a dream.

PS Mira is a habitual liar.

Well, you cant think, you just have to do! I quit smoking this way...and I did quit drinking pop for a while. I am now drinking diet, but it is still WAY better than regular pop. For the church, there is usually mass/service every day of the week. Go when you can, you dont necessarily have to go on Sunday.
