Click on Tools > Internet Options
(At the top of your browser)
Click On Advanced.
Click On Reset or Restore Advanced settings, or Restore defaults button , depending on the version of windows you are using.
Click on Apply
Click on OK

Close the browser. By pressing the X mark at top right.
Then restart again.

Now you should be able to display images on your browser again.

In Yahoo Mail

cl Options
cl General Preferences

Scroll down
You will see where to display HTML images

After you setup your account, I would go back and choose not to display them. If you receive an e-mail from a trusted source and want to display them, there will be a link at the bottom of the e-mail where you can click to display.
