If your lifestyle is sedentary, that is the problem. You need to get out an walk every day for at least 20 minutes. It will expand your lungs, get your blood moving, get the endorphins in your brain firing (those are the good chemicals that make you feel happy) and you will be toning your body.

Make it a family outing. The kids will enjoy it too. Then finish off the walk with a visit to the park and throw around a frisbee or a ball for a while.

Stay fit and workout 3 days a week. This will improve your ability to boost your metabolism. Take a power walk in the park, try it. Or do cardio 3 times a week for 20-30 minutes. If you do not like cardio or working out, then dance for about 20-30 minutes, 3 days a week. This is a proven fact, ask your doctor. Most of us women need an extra boost like vitamin B-150 with a niacin vitamin twice a day. Both vitamins twice a day.

You could have a hypothyroid.... I used to be like that but then I lost weight, My doctor put me on Adipex... I absolutely love it, and love having all the energy... But I know when she takes me off it, I'm going to have a mental breakdown and wont know what to do with my life... haha... I have a 19 month old and one that just turned 4 last week... They are very demanding, and never stop going.... The key is sleeeeeeeep, and moutain dew :-)... Just kidding... to be honest, I would get your thyroid and iron checked, then I would start taking Black strap Molasses... Ive heard nothing but great things about that... and how it helps increase energy, along with 40 other positive things...
Mentally how are you? OK... 2 preschoolers..... Mentally maybe I shouldn't even ask... haha... seriously... if your stressed or depressed maybe you can get something to help that, or talk to a minister or someone for guidance!
good luck!
god bless

You may need some blood drawn to see if you might be anemic or have thyroid trouble. Also, could you be depressed ? Depression can drain you and make you feel tired and sleepy. Another thing is allergies.... they can make you tired feeling, sleepy and drained with no energy.

Go to the doctor and see what he or she might say. You might need something as simple as vitamins. It's always better to be safe than sorry. There are some many possiblities of what could be wrong and a doctor could tell you what it is and put your mind at ease and make you feel better physically.

don't sleep extra late in the day, and eat breakfast! I always find that eating breakfast gives me tons more energy. And as you have kids, maybe taking an early morning walk will help with your energy as well as have fun with the kids

How are your eating habits? A lot of sugar & caffeine?
If you can't change your energy level by eating less junk & more healthy foods then you should see a doctor.
