Okay, maybe embarrass isn't quite the word. we just want to do something special she will remember and that will be FUN. She is well aware that we are plotting something and is excited. I just want original ideas. this is not me being hateful to my buddy, you should see what she did to me for mine.

If you don't want to embarrass her, and you want to do something fun, and I have no idea what gender, or age, or where you live, makes it kinda tough, eh?

If you are female and a teen, why don't you make an appointment for a group facial, or manicure, or something that's enjoyable - she won't be embarrassed, and will love it.

Oh, ok, my bad. Well, there are always the restaurants that sing to you for your birthday in front of the whole restaurant. I'm not sure of your age, so I'm not sure of an age appropriate answer. There are restaurants which are dinner theatres - so to speak. They put on a show while you eat and use people from the audience to come up on the stage. You really don't have a chance to say no, they pretty much drag you up in front of everyone. I know this because my husband took a chair behind a pole, thinking they wouldn't notice him -- well, he got noticed alright. Good luck and have fun!!.

Oh my gosh what are you 12. Birthday;s are for celebrating. A happy day is in order not jealous payback. Life if short learn to give and make others life more joyous. Live by the golden rule, why would you not lavish her with a surprise night blindfolded in a limo that takes her to a casino with friends, dancing and a glamorous love-shack room for the night. Now that is fun..Let me tell you sister, always want the best for your friend because in return you get that as well. Friends are forever.

A real, true friend would never want to embarrass or plot a practical joke that would make him/her uncomfortable. I think there are many ways to make your friend's birthday a special day that she will treasure and remember in a fond way - that's what real friends do..

I don't think it's a good idea to do that to your best friend, not even as a joke....Remember the word BEST FRIEND.. it's all about trust. I would not play any jokes to my best friend, but if you can come up with something out of this world, go for it.

Take her to the bar with all kinds of signs on her saying it's her birthday (kinda like a bachlette party) and make her do silly things and walk around the bar.

If you are old enough hire a stipper. That is really embarrassing if you ask me.
