Really? Did not expect that. I guess since he is from there they sort of take it/him for granted. Their news about him i'm sure is more extensive down to the local paper to the radio stations.

It may be a bit odd but we have been having TV tributes and it's been all over each and every news program. Tomorrow we are remembering Steve Irwin - International Khaki Day. At my work we are raising funds too. We loved Steve Irwin and his passion for conservation.

Steve has been getting massive media coverage here in Australia; just suppose nobody's been bothered to get a blog happening?
