If you adjust your door so it goes down further, will you have a gap at the top?
If not, then just adjust your door to shut more. Electric door opener? Then it is just a matter of adjusting the "door stop" control. Read the instructions for the opener.
No opener? Then it's just a matter of lowering the door by lengthening the cables by the springs. I don't know what type you have, so figure it out.
If you will have a gap on top, then you'll have to extend the bottom. There are door seals on the market that are different thicknesses.

If the door seems to be adjusted correctly and you still have the gap, you can build a ramp in your driveway to fill the additional room you are short. Be sure to clean your existing driveway, sweep and allow it to dry. Apply an epoxy bodning agent to the concrete, mix your concrete a little stiff. place it flat at 2" to 2 1/2" under your garage door, and slope it out at both sides away from the door over a 6" or so width to match with the existing concrete.
Not only will this fix the gap under your door, but ti will help keep any rain water out of your garage.

I built a garage door once.
Then I built it again. I learned a few things in the process . . .
Weight is extremely important. You don't want more if you can help it.
If I were faced with your problem, I'd go down to the local Home Depot or Lowes and browse the store to see if there's some kind of lightweight material that can be tacked onto the bottom of that door to take in the gap. I would NOT use wood . . . too heavy.
There's got to be some kind of quasi-rubber-ish stuff that you can buy by the yard for that gap.

Make sure the door is going down all the way by making sure there is no overlap at the top of the door. If there is some overlap, the door might be caught or the opening mechanism might need adjustment. If not, call the manufacturer to see if they have a wider bottom door panel for your type of door.

Unless you installed it, the door probably wasn't installed that way so you can bet that there's an adjustment somewhere else. Garage door openers usually have an adjustment to where they stop. You should be able to make the adjustment and have the door go down further.

you just have to check the make and model then go to store and look at the remote section...its the same thing like a universal remote for a tv...but some of the super old models arent compatible.
