Call your nearest neighbor to see whether you are right. Or if you think that there really is someone out there, call your police station to do the checking for you.
About your paranoia, you may talk to a psychiatrist about that so that you will be given advice to eliminate that in your system. It's detrimental to anybody's health if paranoia continues because it is the sister of depression and fear.

Check to make sure all your door and windows are locked down. If you see a particular vehicle, write down the description and get the license plate even if you have to call a neighbor to go out and water the yard to see what it is. Follow your intuition, call the police if necessary.
