we live because we CAN breathe air, eat food , drink water and make a shelter to protect us. If you are lucky enough to be able to accomplish living, then you can think about life. LOL.
Life, is the next step. its having a soul, its the ability to love others. You should read some books........ talk to people. Take a class in philosophy. The answer is right in front of you.

Biologists have been debating the definition of life for some time now. So far no one really has a very good definition; most of them either exclude something we normally call living or include something we normally call nonliving. So you can probably go with pretty much any definition you like. :P

I like to live to see as much of the world as possible and have as much fun as possible. I like traveling and adventure sports. I hate work and the only reason I have my job is because I work 4 days then get 4 days off and it pays my bills to travel and buy fun toys. My next one is going to be a motorcycle.

We live to experience life. We have a physical body and a spirit. We use the physical body to experience the physical world, but we are really all spiritual.

What a great question to ponder for meditation. But if I was to be completely honest, life is what you want it to be. I think your question has a different answer for different people. For me life is about experience and being with those I care about. For another person it may be completely different.

I have often wonderd the same. maybe life revolvs around food, think about it, it gives us life and if we dont have it we die. (haha)
Or maybe we are all some crazy version of the sims and our actions are all being controlled by some giant 8 year old on some giant computer.

We are Gods creations and he uses us to preform his will on earth and to prove ourselves worthy of His Kingdom in Heaven. I wish I knew all the answers and someday we will.
