For a lot of people its hard to "beat your own horn" to say what you are very good at, thinking you might be bragging. It took me years before I was able to do it. I finally realized, hey I'm pretty good at this, when a friend snuck a piece of needlework (counted cross stitch) to a show, and I won first place. My walls are now decorated with dozens of my work with ribbons that have Best of Show and first place.
I enjoy working with my hands, making crafts. Scrap booking, knitting, rug hooking, Stain glass (and teaching it)
I would never trade the talents I have, but sure wish I could draw more then stick people, and be able to do decorative painting

Not a common one, but I started martial arts at 14yrs, and now a professional fighter. So it was a hobby, and I never saw it becoming a career.
Would I trade in those skills for others? Well, that is a difficult one; the ability to defend oneself to a reasonable level is very good for ones own confidence, and that confidence crosses over into other projects I take on. So maybe if it was for instant gain in my other area of skills, ie telecommunications, as I believe that there is always work for the top 5% in that industry - at great rates of pay too. And we all need that...
I wonder how many people here would 'trade in' skills for monetary gain...

I like my hobbies as they are what keeps me content. They are just hobbies. If I am not Happy with the way its going i would Change it. If I had a Talent for something and i didnt at least try my hardest to accept and enjoy it then I would wonder. However if it is something that i was not happy with then I would learn a new Talent.Hope that helped

I am a great photographer. I play the piano. I am good at studying. But my best talent?? I am good at loving. I wouldn't trade any of these talents for anything. However, I wish I could add to my list that I was trilingual or could do magic.. hehe.

My talent is that I get along really well with kids. I teach Sunday school to them. Would I trade it? Not for a billion dollars!
Also, I like to make people laugh. It's not one of my better talents, but I like being around happy people.

I can sing and act. I am told I am very good.
I would consider trading in my voice for a higher one, though...Ah, to be a first soprano again.

I sing, dance, act, write, take care of cats, use scissors well, make nice collages, take care of my responsibilities, and help others when needed. I have been called "Edward's Scissor Hands" because I can cut things perfectly.

I bake and cook. I love to sing, but am usually too shy to do it around others even though I've been told I'm quite good.
