I know he pushed the limits but he was awsome to watch and I admired him. How many people can you find say that they have a job they LOVE to do?!

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

Steve was one of the few that you could watch, learn and enjoy yourself while you were doing it. Most TV is garbage and we sort through our 115 channels to find the best garbage to watch.
The Crocodile Hunter was a Jewel of a show in that rose above all of this.
Thank-you Steve
God Bless!

He was a great guy and loved by our family. He has taught all of us something but my son has a favorite episode. He was holding a fox bat. He thought it was so cute and he wanted to meet Steve so he could pet his baby bat. he will be greatly missed and I feel so bad for his dad, wife and children. They as well as the rest of the world lost a great man.

He brought a lot of attention to the conservation of wildlife, and it was obvious that he loved what he did and he genuinely cared about the animals. It's rare to see that in any profession.

He taught us about conservation as well as about the environment as a whole and how connected we are all to one another. There will never be another like him.

Steve Irwin will be missed.
