when i am uploading more than 30 MB, to either oxyshare or rapidshared. my browser would time out, and later say "CAnnot find server." when i would refresh, nothing would have uploaded.
it happens both in IE and Firefox
what is causing this...by the way i have DSL 384 DL 256 OL [something around those speeds]

The timeout is actually on the server end. There is a variable that can be set in the web server software telling it when to time out. If it's timing out on you it means you're connection to that particular server is too slow, your file is too large, or both.
