Joining a comedy group would probably be the best first start. You'll be able to work on your comedy out loud there. You can't get funny, you're either funny or you're not but funny doesn't mean having the same humor as everyone else. If you start going to an improv or sketch comedy workshop and go and watch a few open mic nights, you'll see that there is room for every style of comedy.

There is a book available called How to Start Your Own Improv Comedy Group

Another good thing to do is to join the alt.comedy newsgroup and JUST READ the posts for a few weeks. You'll get a lot of great information from the conversations.

WRITE IT DOWN... all the things you have in your head need to go down on paper (or Word) so you can start refining them. Once you have enough for an open mic session (3 to 5 minutes) you can go to open mics in your area and try the material out.

:) good luck

I don't think that it's possible to change you sense of Humor however, I have a crazy one too maybe you will just appeal to a different group than others.. it's good to have different styles of comedy if you are going to start a group.

Don't try to change your sense of humor. Try to find people with similar humor to start your group with; that will help when you're developing material.
