Yes, you will lose weight BUT once you want to have a sandwich or something other than apples and celery stalks, you'll gain the weight back tremendously. I know you don't want to hear this but the best way is to eat in moderation and stay away from junk food. Have 3 servings fruit a day, 3 servings dairy, 5 proteins, 3 breads and 2 fats. Hint: use only non-fat or low-fat items. It'll come off slowly but it'll stay off once you're ready to maintain your weight.

If you took all the calories you would have ate in three meals and ate them in 6 or 7 smaller "meals", you'd lose weight.

You could also figure out what you eat most often, determine if it's good or bad for you, count how many calories you ate and possibly reduce those calories.

Drink a lot of water all day long (8 to 10 bottles of water, 10 ounces each). Stay away from sugary soft drinks and juices with a lot of sugar.

follow the food pyramid. very simple and easy to follow. moderate meat, little fats... alot of fruits and veggies.. proper hydration.. exercise...

it doesn't have to be crazy stuff where you wear yourself down just ride a bike, take the stairs.. walk...

fast weight gain can be lost just as fast.

just by cutting out the soda, junk food, fast food, junk snacks.. all that crap has preservatives, additives and other chemicals to give it long shelf life and all that garbage in those foods can stay in the body for a very long time, the body doesn't like fakey stuff it doesn't know what to do with it.

keep hydrated, sweat it out and eat fresh veggies and fruits and that should flush you out.. and do keep 'regular' if you know what i mean.. being constipated is not a good thing.

eat more fiber.

and a reasonable outlook for 30 lbs.. if you want to keep it off.. if you gained it real fast should be... 3 months.

stick to a real healthy and basic diet with mobility and you should drop that tonage! and if you keep this diet.. the 'food pyramid' diet as some call it.. is a life term diet.. the pyramid is just a reference.. it sounds like a scam but no it's a diagram for what is good and what the body needs.. the 'pyramid' has been around as long as gradmothers have been yelling at us to finish our veggies or it's not dessert for us!

Well..it'll work but you'll be hungry. Try eatting breakfast. And 5 of 6 sensible meals everyday. Exercise and sleep good. Watch calories, high fat foods, saturated and transfats. 12-1500 calories should do it. And don't eat 3-4 hours before you go to sleep. Drink water.

Try eating smaller portions 6 times a day about the size of your clinched fist from all levels of the food pyramid. Also add some resistance to your workout, but don't add to much seeing that you are under 18.

Yes, it would. However, you can't live on this forever and it is not balanced or healthy. Stop drinking regular soda and eating fast food. Don't skip any meals. Have one serving. Drink a lot of water and get moving in some way.

if you do this you would lose a lot of muscle tone. to prevent losing muscle you need to eat proteins. if you dont like meat proteins try to use protein shakes. but you need to eat sensibly and not just carrots and celery. you body needs more than that to survive. if you lose 2lbs a week you can lose 30lbs in 15 weeks. but if you dont do it sensibly you will gain it right back and more when you change and add food to your diet. becareful and good luck.
