Does a lifeless bag add so much to your sexiness or persona?

For people that need material things to make them worth something..I make the purse it doesnt make me..

I love my bags because they carry all of my neccessities, and I do believe they add to my persona. I usually carry large bags and they have to coordinate with what I am wearing. I wear a smaller bag when going out to a night club or to dinner. I know some women who never carry bags and I wonder about them. I mean...A woman needs her bag because we need items that men dont need. Personally, my bag doesnt have to be expensive or have a fancy logo, but I would be lying if I wasto say I dont have a coach bag or two. U said our bags are lifeless, but what is carried inside of them means alot to us.

Once again, it depends on the girl.
Every person (male or female) has a fettish of some sort, something they love that helps express themselves. To play on the stereotypes (which I hate doing), for some guys - this fettish may be cars... its just that they cost a lot more and therefore they can't be purchased in dozens. Heck the fettish may even be ties, or jeans or wallets.
For the girls I know who love their handbags, it's an expression of their personal style that they can swap out to reflect their mood. Also, a handbag never stops fitting! Try shopping in the woman's department for clothes and trying to look good in something that is made to be "fitted" only as a woman, your weight and size fluctuation through the month as your horomones change and you go through your cycle.
A handbag is like jewelry and accessories, its reliable... it fits no matter what a woman's body is doing that day.
I'm personally not a handbag person, I have one good handbag and that's it. But I do love other accessories to dress things up (my signature fettish is sunglasses).

Men have the misconception that all women carry in their bags is junk. They also assume that all women love carrying purses. But that is not always true.
The reason men don't need a purse is because the clothes they wear allow them to carry what they need in pockets. Even a mans wallet, most of the time, is packed with enough junk to cause a disproportionate bulge in his back pocket.
There are not many women that own a pair of jeans/slacks with a pocket large enough to fit the basic necessities everyone should carry with them (cash, I.D., pen, gum, chap stick,credit cards, not to mention certain feminine hygiene products. the list could go on)
So it's not that women are "so crazy about" the bags we carry..we need to carry them because the alternative would be to dress in ill fitting pants with extra large pockets that fit what we need (as men do), and flannel shirts with chest pockets to have a place to put a pen just in case. I think the way we dress now is just fine, don't you?

I don't really like expensive bags that much. I mean if ur carrying something around with u 24/7 i wanna have it look nice but i think Mudd bags are neice and not $300, either i mean Coach bags (the in-style bag) are like $230 each check it out at http://coach.com its ridiculus. yes, they r nice but still. i think they are in-fashino becuz they are nice AND expensive and every girl seems to like them. i would buy one if they weren't so expensive. but i like Mudd bags just as much as Coach bags. its really ridulus the way purses are like status-symbols cuz on the price.

Hmm ah, no, just a simple bag to carry the things that look too bulgy in tight jeans will do. Cute and practical...great.

I don't carry a designer bag worth thousands of $$$ but my mum does, and yeah, she goes crazy of her "babies" and she likes it as it adds a certain pizazz and razzledazzle to her outfit.

I have the same question. Prada, Gucci, and Coach are robbing you blind- for nothing. I personally think it is a waste of money.
