if somebody is texting you and you dont know who, is there a way to look up the name that goes weith the number? or can you only do that with a land line? i really need intelligent answer please!

ive tried asking. they wont tell me.... and what is a mobile directory?

go to anywho or look up reverse phone numbers and and or cell phone reverse phone numbers. I have done it before so i know it can be done. There are many places but most charge a fee so keep looking cuz I did it for free I just had to look around also try free reverse phone directory. you should be able to find something. Also the on line Detective software if you subscribe to it or know someone who does it can be looked up there as well. Good Luck. If the person is harassing you or making crude remarks or anything of such report it to you phone company and they can trace it and stop it for good. I hope that is not the case.

Why don't you just call the number they are texting you from and ask who it is?
