In 2002 the average age for first births was 26.7 years. Although the average age of all mothers at childbirth is increasing, the average number of children women think they will have is still around two children per woman.

I Say Anywhere From 12-14 Now Days...Parent's Need To Start Putting Their Kids On Birth Control As Soon As Their Period Starts!...That's My Opinion.

There was a girl I knew who had a two year old when she was 13 years old, so she must have been 11 when he was concieved. It all depends on how early the girl matures and starts her period. There are poor little girls out there who are starting their periods as early as age 5, and some who don't start them till they are 18.

16 is the average age in this country. although it can be as early as 13 and as late as 40+

I read on USA Today Weekend, the average woman having their first child at 25. I don't know about being pregnant though.

HMM! IN AMERICA, I WILL SAY 15. SO MUCH GIRLS ARE DOING WHAT THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO AND ARE MAKING THE POPulation rate go up until we wont be able to fit. Did you know there is a birth every 7 seconds (average) and a death every 13 seconds (average) its going to get to the point that we wont fix sooner or later.

THERE IS NO SET AGE, SOME 14 YEAR OLDS HAVE KIDS AND ON THE OTHER HAND WOMEN IN THERE LATE 40's HAVE KIDS....BUT I THINK OVERALL MOST BABIES ARE BORN TO WOMEN IN THERE LATE 20's EARLY 30's....

the way it is now teens like 12 and up i was 13 but i think it should aleast be 18
