I prefer to have "close" friends. I find that people that have many friends really don't have the time to get to know them and I think I consider that more like having a lot of aquaintences than friends. Friendship requires a lot of time and trust. At least this is my opinion.

Yes...a good balance of friends and acquaintances are very useful throughout life. You've heard the expression that "two heads are better than one." Well later on you'll find that if you surround yourself with people of different skills and expertise other thatn what you have, you can solve a lot of problems by asking the right people in your personal network of friends and acquaintances. ; )

It's nice making more friends but you shouldn't have too many that you call close. Having one best friend who's always there for you and you two are like sisters is better to me rather than having a whole bunch that you just call your friends.

i dun,i have very few friends but they r really those buddies tat we went thru all the ups n downs in life

true friends,one is enough n i'm so glad tat i've 3 :)
