It does sound like you lost your mucus plug. However, you don't need to worry just yet. It can take days before your water breaks or before you go into labor. Here are a few simple things to keep in mind:
1. Don't take any tub baths. Showers are fine; Just don't sit in any water.
2. Don't go swimming.
3. Abstain from sexual intercourse.
4. Call your doctor just to let him know what's going on with you. He/she may have a few more things to tell you.
5. Enjoy these last few days and drink plenty of water.
6. If you notice fluid leaking out (it may feel like urine at first) you need to call the doctor asap so you can see if it's amniotic fluid.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

It Took Me 2-3 Days After I Lost My Whole Mucous Plug!...I'd Say Just watch out For Pains And Contractions. If It Would Make You Feel Better, Then Go To The Hospital Where You Are Having Your Baby, So They Can Monitor You! Congratulations And Good Luck With Delivery!

For me it was a day after- just keep an eye out for any uncomfortable feelings in your stomach, and see if they happen after a certain period of time. You might feel a bit uncomfortable for a minute and then it will be an hour before you feel it again, but gradually you'll notice the time between contractions get shorter.
I would also talk to the hospital where you are having the baby, because 34 weeks is a bit early, and they might want you to come in for observation.
All the Best, and CONGRATULATIONS :)

This happened to me on January 20th and I didn't have any pains or any other signs of labor until February 24th. My baby girl was born February 26th. I also went to the hospital when it broke and they sent me home right away. If you don't have a constant leak and have to wear a pad then no worries. Good luck and have fun!!!

Soon. You better go to the hospital now because 34 weeks is early and they may need to prepare for the baby. Congratulations and good luck.

I was told in my lamaze class, that if you lose your mucus plug, just to let the doctor know at the next visit. It's just means that your cervix has thinned out enough to expel the plug. Call your doctor in the morning.

Head to the hospital, dont eat anything labor could start immediately and you might not even feel the contractions if its your first It might take longer but the baby doesnt have any amneotic fluid so I would go to Labor and Delivery asap so they can monitor you. Sometimes your water breaks and you dont go into labor and it could be dangerous for the baby so check it out them might have to induce. GOOD LUCK and BEST WISHES

Don;t freak out.... and pay no attention to the responses that say you need to go to hospital!
you loose your plug and it may be weeks before you go into labor but if it is blood tinged then you need to see the doctor.
usually you don;t loose the plug all at once... you'll see a increase in vaginal secretion as you loose it.
Relax! you are progressing normally!
