Roses represent the heart and unconditional love in many cultures around the world. The unexplainable scent of roses is considered to be a very positive thing. While there are many possible meanings, the scent is widely associated with the Mother Mary as well as some saints and angels. If one smells roses, it is said to be an indicatation of their presence and possibly a divine message.

Do you smell the roses ONLY in the house? If not, you may be suffering from a seizure. My mom suffers from a variety of smells that range from almonds to really gross scents. They come and go at random but seem to be associated with stress. She finally went to a doctor of some sort who determined it was seizures. If it is only in the house, well then........oooOOOooooo!

Has someone died that was close to you? Were they fond of gardening or were they ever sent bouquets of roses(i.e. Mother's Day, anniversary, birthday)? Maybe there is a breeze thru your house that is caring the aroma from your neighbors garden.

Maybe there is some scent being used on something like laundry or cleaning stuff that you smell. If not talk to a doctor. There was a disease that Valene got on Knots Landing one time that was characterized by smelling stuff that wasn't there. It was real weird and rare.

Someone you know is going to die! It is the spirit guides that give off that smell when they are around! Oh boy, that not a good sign. I wish I could help you more but I'm probably too far away anyway. Just beware.

Did you have a family member who has passed away who liked roses or anyone who had roses at there funeral? It's a message for you. When My son died in 2002 we had Lilly's at his funeral, when things get tough for me I can smell Lilly's.

I smell toast and this isn't a joke, same time every night late when everyone is sleeping and I'm doing this LOL. Somebody mentioned to me it might be a presence. Don't know I'm skeptical, but it's eerie.

there could be a presence in you house. take note of anything else unusual like open cabinets and drawers or things being moved out of place, or a sudden rush of cold air. sometimes you just just get a strange unexplicable feeling.

Sometimes God or a deceased loved one sends rose or orange scents to us to let us know they are there.
