Im in my first year of college chemistry and Im already lost. My only question is, what do you call people who get A's in chemistry?
Are they just smarter than the average cat?

Since i've never seen a cat in college, I would say more than likely yes. But thats just my opinion.

Some are smarter than the average cat, others just have a knack for chemistry and other science but my suck at English. Before you get too far into the semester, see if you can get a tutor. Some colleges offer tutors for free!!

Do or die, I had to get thru it for a career in the medical field. I had no knowledge of chem from H.S. Anyway, go to tutoring if it's available at your college. I did and then invested lots of time studying the basics. I ended up with an A. You will be surprised what you can accomplish! :)

One more important thing: I went to a used book store and bought an easier college text since mine was awful. It made the difference. You could also look for a used h.s. text for clarification of those "basics" before you move up into the detail in your text.

Also, I spent time "surfing" for explanations of concepts til I found one that "clicked" for me. Sometimes I think the textbooks are way too loaded with info for those trying to get in on the ground floor. So feel free to surf for your topics as well.

Hydrogen. the muse of each ingredient contained in the universe. you may't imagine of the call, formula and a compound? Ever heard of water or google? Whats more desirable nerve-racking is that you do not imagine it is touching on to what you're gaining expertise of. Being politer. call, Water. formula. H2O. Use, survival.
