Possibly. I've wondered this from the onset. The only ones who know are Robert, Christopher Walken (why doesn't someone ask him?), Natalie herself (and she's not telling), and God (who will reveal the truth in His time).

It always seemed a possibility to me that Robert Wagner killed his wife. Natalie's worst fear was water and drowning. She wouldn't have been alone out in a boat outside the yacht.

Wow, this is an old one. It really caught my eye. Reading some of the answers, it does seem like a lot of people don't know what you are talking about.
I remember it clearly. I thought at first that he probably did it, but the more I read and heard about them it seemed highly unlikely.
I still believe it could've been an accident though. When people are drunk and fighting, there is no telling what might happen. It doesn't really make it any better, but if he did kill her I don't think he intended to. I believe he really loved her.

I remember thinking Wagner did it back then and I still believe he did. They had been having a big fight and when they found her body it had bruises all over it. Falling in the water and drowning does not cause that kind of damage to a body.

robert blake i believe had his wife killed. i dont think he did it himself... and i think he got away with it here on earth... just like oj simpson got away with killing his ex wife and her boyfriend... but they have a bigger judge to deal with still and this judge already knows the truth.... but it is a shame that you can fool the people... guess thats why we cant be gods.... we arent perfect enough..
but yes.... i do think they got away with it....
