You really can't beat waxing. Despite my best efforts, I simply can't do this myself, so I splurge and get it done professionally.

Shaving just sucks. Second-best option is a depilatory (nair) but many people are sensitive to this, and end up with a nasty rash.

If you're feeling brave, go for a brazilian. It's a little embarassing to get waxed so intimately, but the result is awesome.

I shave down there and it is smooth for about a day and then it starts growing back in and is really uncomfortable because it gets rashy. I eventually want to have it lasered off so that I don't have to deal with hair down there anymore.

Before you shave, exfoliate the area and you will get a closer shave and less ingrown hairs.

Actually, you can shave it but you have to use a really good shaver. You can't just get those disposable ones with one blade on it. The razor that I have had the BEST luck with is Venus. That shaver is AWESOME! I shave it down there all the way off and have never had a problem with bumps. When you first start shaving - it is inevitible, you will probably get razor bumps, but you have to continue it in order to get your skin used to it. Eventually, it won't bump up anymore. Also, use shaving cream. Just be careful you don't get the cream inside your u know what.

Venus is the best shaver. DO NOT USE ANY CHEAP RAZORS!!!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

wax and grit your teeth against the pain, or shave with a Venus with lots of shaving cream and shave in direction of hair growth, not against so that you dont get ingrowns.
Also, don't shave it all off, leave a natural looking patch and just trim it down a bit. The closer to the center, the itchier the regrowth. Not happy times.

I shave and I have it down pat lol I never cut myself and I never get ingrown hairs. I have always wanted to wax but have never felt comfortable with a stranger down there. If you opt to shave, use a mans Mach 3 razor and shaving gel or cream. Also get Tend Skin it keeps the ingrown hairs away, it burns for a sec but its worth it.

Dont Shave it doesn't work too well. You get cut and it is really itchy when it grows back. Get it waxed. I would recommend doing it somewhere not at home because they know what they are doing and you could mess up.

Shaving makes the hair grow more coarse. It feels prickly. It will stick out of the underwear.

I use the Shick Intuition. It helps and you don't have to worry with the shaving cream.
