There are small stories mentioned about him in the 1970 book "Ball Four" written by Jim Bouton.
Rumor has it that most Mickey Mantle autographs were courtesy of Pete Sheehy instead.

was yankee clubhouse man for years .was clubhouse man when i went to my first game in 1968. think he started when babe ruth was playing.There is a plaque in the yankee dugout honoring
him.
