When I try to call my friend, I keep getting this message, "the pcs phone # you have dialed is temporarily not in service" Well this has been going on for awhile, so I called sprint's customer service, punched in his # & it said the amount due by Sept 18 on all your phones is..blah blah.. Well does that mean he got a different phone number or just cut off that particular phone? I'm really confused, because when I punch in his # that he used when he talked to me still works to get through to his bills & all that then why does it still say that message when I dial that #? Hopefully that's not confusing but I need some answers!

So even though he has more than 1 phone, (apparently) it would still be the same number on all phones right? If it's because he hasn't paid his bill, then geez he's really behind!

He must've been late on his bill for quite a while, because they won't disconnect till it's about 2 weeks late, and they'll send text messages to the phone itself...I was a bit late myself once. Which reminds me I need to pay it now....thanks for the reminder.

Sprint "slammed" me last Feb/Mar and I was getting a similar message when I tried to make a long distance call. They had shut down my service for a $ 32+ bill for charges I didn't even owe. Finally, with the help of AT&T, the FCC and Ohio PUCO, I have gotten it taken care of and all charges have either been canceled or credits made. It sounds like your friend owes them money and so service has been limited to just contacting Sprint's customer-no-service.
