Must be on a personal experience. I know it has to be my experience, but I am just trying to brainstorm ideas and an answer might jar my memory!

An argumentative essay can be about nearly anything. What makes an essay argumentative rather than procedural or descriptive is that you have a thesis. That means that there must be a one sentence (generally a thesis is one sentence, but it can surely be longer if necessary) statement, usually at the end of an introduction, that states the argument, or goal of the paper. So, for an argumentative essay about personal experience, your thesis might be, "The most important factors to a college student's success are financial stability, emotional support from family, and an interest in the coursework." Then, the rest of the paper could "prove" the argument by explaining why those three factors are the most important. You'd be using personal experience as supporting evidence. I hope this helps.

Should there still be colleges and schools just for men/boys and some just for women/girls?

Should sex education be increased in schools in an attempt to curb problems such as teenage pregnancy?

The mass media, including TV, radio, newspapers have a great influence on people and especially on the younger generation. It plays an important role in shaping the opinions and positions of the younger generation. Argue for or against this statement.

Try a relationship of yours or a friends where both people had good arguments but you thought one was more right than the other. Why you thought your brother or sister do this in life but your parents dont agree or think differently than you. Even something with you and your parents...thats probably the easiest Im sure there is something you can argue in a length about you and what your parents think where you can state good ideas or points from both sides.

Abortion, war, fashion statements (the way we dress affecting our choices), are people born good or evil...just a couple I could think of.
