I would send it back to the return address and if I got it again I would cash it and give it to numerous charities....

As long as the person that sent it signed it then just put your information on it. The money order is paid for so there should not be any trouble. I use to work at a bank and sometimes we would see that and we would just get the person to fill it out with their information. Sometimes the giver may not fill it out, for fear of misspellings or in case the receiver wanted to use it to pay a bill and then it would need to be made out to that business. If I were going to send someone a money order in the mail though I would make sure it was filled out because the mail could be lost and end up God knows where and then the sender would just be out that money. If it were properly filled out though and the receiver did not get it then the sender could put a trace on it.

If I were you, I would turn my computer off, put the bottle of wine down, sit in the bathtub, and peacefully and safely pass out.
To answer your question, if I received a money in the mail that was not made out to anyone, and I knew it wasn't for me, I would be very confused because in order for it to be in my mail, the envelope it came from had to addressed to me.
I would look at the return address, and send it back with a letter explaining it was sent to me but wasn't meant for me.....rereading what I wrote, I have one question for you---do you and your GF have any leftover room in the bathtub for meeee??????

How could I recieve it in the mail if it wasn't addressed to anyone.? If the MO was blank and the envelope to me, I'd probalby try to find out who sent it and cash it. If it ws addressed to someone else, but the MO was blank, I'd get it back to the post office and tell them it was delivered to the wrong address.

I'm not familair with money orders, but it must be signed in some kind of way, right?
Can't I find out who sent it, and in turn, who it was intended for? If not, I'll take it to the bank, and turn it over to them to deal with. It's not mine, and I don't want it.

I would return it to the Bank of origin and state it came to me in the mail and it is not mine. Honestly! Karma, it comes back to bite you if you do wrong. Life honestly! The only way to be.

I would probably think someone mailed it to me anonymously, and be very happy.
Then I'd blow it on something nice for myself.

I'd turn it in. It would probably be reported as stolen, and it would come back to bite me in the butt.
