I've heard anywhere from immeadiately to 4 hours from death. There's a lot of varibales involved like what the cause of death was, the condition of their organs, how long their nerves stay alive, etc.

I think right around the time of death. My dad was an EMT and told me essentially the last thing to go is your hearing. After your heart stops, you can hear them state your time of death and then its over. Creepy huh

Shortly after the time of death. I once saw a man die while I was doing CPR on him. He lost bladder control at the time he died.

The brains ability to control autonomic function ends when the brain dies. The simple logic is ....after a brain dies, it can't control stuff any more, cause its dead. So the answer to your question is...When you die, you lose it.
