Why is it that Bush is stepping on every single country who owns nuclear power? Don't other countries have the right to have these things so that they can defend their countries?

Is Bush planning to take over the world or something because he is oppressing other countries from having weapons and nuclear? But he allows Israel to have one but not Iran or Korea or God knows what other countries?

Why must he butt into other people's business and not look into his own country's issues?

I just don't understand. Just leave the other countries be. And why must war be a solution? I dunno. Can anyone shed a light on these questions?

These are very confusing.

For some reason Bush seems to feel that he's better than everybody else, especially those who live in other countries. The fact he's letting some countries hold nuclear weapons or knowledge about them and not others is probably 99.9% to do with money. He won't make any profit from putting an end to poverty or providing homes for the less fortunate in our country.. so the bastard could care less! War and interfering in other countries gives Bush publicity, for one thing.. and he's making a profit off of interfering.

That's a great idea until N. Korea or Iran develops an ICMB capable of delivering their nukes to the U.S. Or in the case of Iran, give the nukes to terrorists. Rouge states like North Korea do not care about the same issues as the rest of the world. If a leader of a rouge nation suddenly decided that hurting the U.S. was better than survival, then any city in the world could be taken out.

There are also numerous nuclear non-proliferation treaties out there. Basically, all countries that had nukes at the time could keep them, and no one else would try to develop them. India and Pakistan both did, and there was a lot of international outrage. For the most part, however, they are relatively stable countries.

China has nuclear weapons, and we certainly don't want China to have them, but no one is insisting that China give them up. Most of the world (not just the US), wants Iran and North Korea to stop their programs.

Currently war is not the answer, and this is evidenced by the fact that we have not gone to war with Iran or North Korea. however, there must be consequences for defying the UN and destabalizing the world further. When (not if) the negotiations fail, there will be some kind of military action, but not an all-out invasion. Just strikes on the nuclear facilities.

And to everyone who thinks this has something to do with Bush:

Even FRANCE wants Iran to stop its nuclear program. Japan, S. Korea, China, Russia, Taiwan, and many other countries want North Korea to stop its program. Clinton was against North Korea developing nukes. I don't know how else to make this point clear. The world is united against nuclear proliferation. It is a very important issue to Americans.

It really would be wonderful if everyone could get along, and live in harmony, but that just isn't the way that it is. Look at movies. In the beginning You get to know the characters, and everything is nice, and then at some point, things go bad, really quickly. There is so much that We as regular Citizens are not informed about. Just because no one calls each of us to let us know everything that is going on, doesn't mean that it isn't happening. Unfortunately war has been a factor for all times. And in the Bible it states that there will be wars, and rumors of wars. It is to every ones benefit, not to let angry, hate filled, war lords possess nuclear weapons. I don't like war anymore than the next rational Person, but I also do not know all of the information that is provided.

Now God Bless Our Troops, May God Keep Them All Safe, and Bring Them Each Home.....Safe, And Alive...........

A dear Young Man We know, just finished His Service in Iraq, and He and His Company touched down on U.S. soil at 7:30 am this morning. Thank You God............

I wish I had the answer that Your seeking, I just don't know that there is one. However I deeply wish there was.

We don't allow those two countries to have nuclear arms for two reasons.
1. They signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty which bans expansion of nuclear weapons stockpiles.
2. North Korea's leader is clinically insane and cannot be trusted to have a nuke.
3. Iran's leader says he wants to enrish urainium then turns around and calls for the death of Israel. Seems like an unlikely coincidence.

I can shed some light on this. Bush is so concerned about this country that he is trying to prevent nuclear attacks against the US. He cares a lot about our lives. He is not power hungry since he will be out of power in a few years, so i don't understand what people mean that he wants to take over the world. No, he should not worry a little more about the US affairs, but i truly feel safer with him in office, worrying about other countries trying to blow us up.

If he started to worry more about internal affairs, that would involve the government regulating things in the economy and such, which is not a good thing because it weakens the people of this country. The government gains more power over the US people whenever it raises taxes and other regulations that it enforces. I prefer less government in our daily affairs but more government in protecting us, that is why i am much more conservative than anything else. I hoped i helped

You DO know that countries like Korea and Iran who want Nuclear weapons are run by brutal dictators who want to wipe entire countries off the planet, right? Of course you don't. Iran has called for Israel to be wiped off the map and Korea is just itching to bomb Japan. That doesn't sound like defending their country. To me, it sounds like they want to wipe out people they don't like. How ignorant can one person be?

the real version of this movie is, US is not going to war to defend other countries but create problems between them makes weapons of mass destruction himself to use and stay as a super power. But this will benefit the Satan(God's Angel-Lucifer) to invade the world. In your family if there is fight between family members will be easy target to others. War is from Satan, Love is from God. we should not go to War.
