I know you can hit one of the "f" keys along with another one but cannot for the life of me remember which. Help

You need to press the F10 key while computrer is starting up

If you mean the original Bios settings, watch the messages that appear on the screen when you first turn the computer on. One of them will tell you which key to hit to get into the Bios. Once you get into the Bios, one of the options available will be to restore to default settings.

chk the manual or take help of company service, if have a back up cd u can do it,
for bios u need to press ctrl + c button o clear c mos and make the default setings

Depends on the computer.
When you start the computer
Click the -> arrow key
It should tell u all the F buttons and tell you which to click.

when booting, keep tapping f10. you will go into factory reset.
