When someone constantly changes the focus/subject of an argument in order to "win"?

I believe that is deflection. It isn't a healthy person to be dealing with either. A great book on communication I got in one of my psychology classes years ago is "Messages". Gives wonderful examples and how to deal with these situations.

i might say counter transference, because of the fact it includes a favorable trait (humorousness). Projection in many cases deals with a adverse trait (ex. A uncomplicated liar despises "phony human beings")..Projection is greater like once you're conscious of your maximum adverse fault yet choose for to no longer face it, so which you manage it by despising people who proportion that comparable function
