What other options at WR do you have on the bench? If they're good, go with the sure-fire starter instead. DeAngelo Hall and Atlanta would probably give Smith fits even at full speed. With two hurtin' hammys I doubt he'll do much...

If my opponent was starting Jake Delhomme against me this week and Smith's status is probable, I might gamble. Otherwise go with somebody who's definitely playing.

Smith is going to be the dreaded "game time decision". Get on Yahoo before the early games and see if he's playing (check what they call Game Time Calls, this will show you who will play and who is going to sit). Sorry, this is going to be a last minute thing this week.

In situations like this, you wait until game day. 99% of the time you'll know if he's playing or not before the deadline to lock in your players. If he plays, he's a stud, so be very wary of benching fantasy studs.

Yes, I most certainly would.......Major part of his game is the long ball, and with his hamstring acting up I just wouldnt take the chance......

It all depends on who your other receivers are. Unless you are stacked at receiver, I would play him. I doubt he will sit out the home opener.

Don't sit him, TRADE HIM! He had a lucky year last year, get something of good value while you still can.

wait until gameday and check his status, if it's P then play him, if it's Q or D then sit him, that's how i do it anyway
